Under an almost impenetrable layer of clay, some 34 meters (37 yards) thick, we tapped a glacial tunnel channel carved out in the Elster Ice Age and containing a spring of exceedingly pure water. Given the water\u2019s very high quality in composition and purity, we decided to explore the possibilities for extracting water from the spring. All the necessary tests were done and passed with flying colors, resulting in certification of the spring by the Dutch Ministry of Health and Welfare.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Our natural mineral water is unique in the world. Its origin and composition set it apart from all other mineral waters.\u00a0 We extract the water from a tunnel channel, which is a closed system.\u00a0 The path the water has flowed along for many thousands of years gives it its unique mineral composition.\u00a0 That composition is in perfect balance, providing exactly the minerals we need on a daily basis.\u00a0 We can drink it in unlimited quantities too, which is important because we need an average daily intake of two liters of water (a little more than two quarts).\u00a0 Our water is low sodium, making it a suitable addition to a low-sodium diet and appropriate for serving in nursing homes and hospitals.<\/p>\n

Our mineral water is mild tasting, and slightly sweet (thanks to its low chloride content) and hard. It has relatively low levels of ammonium and iron.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Bovis value<\/h2>\n

The Bovis value is the vibrational frequency of materials.\u00a0 Every product or object and everything alive has a vibrational frequency, expressed as a number on the Bovis scale.\u00a0\u00a0 Things with a vibration greater than 6,500 Bovis give us energy and strengthen us.\u00a0 Things with a lower value than 6,500 deplete our energy and weaken us.\u00a0 Bovis values are assigned based on a scale developed by two French scientists, Bovis and Simoneton. Bovis values can be measured using a Biotensor pendulum.<\/p>\n<\/div>

This also applies to food and, basically, everything we consume,\u00a0 which gives us a whole new way of looking at what is healthy and wholesome: its Bovis value should be greater than 6,500.<\/p>\n

Our natural mineral water is recommended by Dineke and Karel Jongepier of DJR Consultancy in Veendam, the Netherlands.\u00a0 Dineke has dowsed our mineral water multiple times, finding Bovis values >130,000.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For comparison, Karel and Dineke note that water from the well at Lourdes has a Bovis value of 40,000.<\/p>\n

Dineke explained it to us as follows:\u00a0\u201cWhat\u2019s so special about this spring is that, in addition to having an incredibly high Bovis value, we\u2019ve measured healing properties too. In fact because of this mineral water’s strong cleansing effect in the body, performing radiesthesia, we find that many medical symptoms disappear.<\/em><\/p>\n

Elster\u00ae enables the body to rid itself of toxic substances, reducing or eliminating many common rheumatic symptoms and digestive and\/or skin disorders. It also promotes weight loss, because drinking this mineral water stimulates the burning of excess fat.\u201d<\/em><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

the spring<\/h2>\n

The tunnel channel we tapped was carved out in the Elster Ice Age, when a thick sheet of ice covered the northern part of what later became the Netherlands.\u00a0 Under those ice sheets, channels were formed by meltwater flows.<\/span><\/p>\n

The glacial period lasted from 425,000 to 475,000 years ago.\u00a0 During that Elster Ice Age, streams of meltwater transported huge quantities of sand \u00a0and clay,\u00a0 which are now known as “Peelo” sand and clay.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The tunnel channel we tapped contains a layer of fine white sand and water. It is covered by a thick layer of Peelo clay, also known as \u201cpottery\u201d clay\u00a0 \u2013 a heavy black clay with a high clay mineral content. Despite its name, this clay is actually too heavy for making pots.\u00a0 But its presence has ensured that the water has remained fully protected from intrusion of any form of impurity.\u00a0 Industrial pollution, nuclear waste, medicine residues, hormones and pesticides\u00a0 are all substances that, unfortunately, are found in our tap water nowadays.<\/p>\n

natural mineral water<\/h2>\n

The European Mineral Waters Directive (No. 80\/777\/EEG) defines natural mineral water as microbiologically wholesome water that can be tapped from an underground aquifer (a water-bearing layer in the subsoil) by a natural or drilled well.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The only treatment allowed is removal of iron and, if desired, the addition of carbon dioxide.\u00a0\u00a0 The Netherlands Natural Mineral and Spring Water Decree of 1998 (see PDF elsewhere on this site) mandates that natural mineral water have specific physiological characteristics and originate from a clearly identified, protected spring.<\/p>\n<\/div>

That spring must be officially recognized by government, with such recognition being granted only subsequent to independent studies of the water and the characteristics of the soil and subsoil layers from which the water is extracted. Natural mineral water has to be bottled at the spring. Only then may it be sold to consumers under this name.\u00a0 Furthermore, the water\u2019s composition has to be stable, particularly its mineral content.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our mineral water is thus water in its purest form, the way nature intended.<\/p>\n

We have nature to thank for our mineral water’s unique composition.\u00a0 It is entirely free of pollutants. We remove only any excess of iron, because otherwise the water might leave rust spots on your clothing.\u00a0 As our water flows through the different underground layers, it acquires trace elements, minerals and other health-enhancing substances.\u00a0 Its quality is superior and its taste mild. \u00a0Indications suggest that the mineral composition of our water promotes health and recuperation, because it is in perfect sync with the natural balance of the human body.<\/p>\n

Experts from the Netherlands, China, South Korea and Japan hold the quality of our mineral water in very high esteem.\u00a0 Our Chinese customers ascribe healing medicinal benefits to our mineral water.\u00a0 This is especially relevant in the context of healthy aging, because as we age issues such as cartilage loss are among the most difficult for health care systems to address.<\/p>\n

Water that is bottled at the spring, and moreover is certified as such, is called natural mineral water.\u00a0 If we used a tanker truck to transport our water from the spring to another location for bottling, we could call it spring water.\u00a0 Spring water has fewer requirements to meet (spring water, in principle, need not have any special physiological properties), neither does it need to be bottled at the source.\u00a0 Water labelled only \u201cmineral water\u201d or \u201cspring water\u201d is nothing more than packaged water.<\/p>\n

Natural mineral water also costs more. \u00a0The bottling process must meet extremely stringent demands, because, after all, natural mineral water contains no preservatives or other supplementary ingredients, which is also the reason for its higher price.\u00a0 You get a lot more value for your money, too.\u00a0 Compare it to the price premium on organic foods.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
